Calling all women with polycystic ovary syndrome !!!!?

I just discovered that I have PCOS. There is nothing I can do to prevent diabetes? Is there anything I can do to lose weight or stop gaining weight? Also, is there anything I can do to reduce my symptoms of PCOS? Any input would be helpful ....

Yes, you should be on a diet insulin resistance. Google and you will find a great book. Pretty much you should limit your carbohydrates because the sugar will cause your insulin levels to go anywhere and makes it impossible to lose weight. I started probably two months ago after being diagnosed with PCOS and have already lost 25 pounds. Good luck to you!
