Question about spot on liver?
Okay so I'm a 19 year old male and have been experiencing some symptoms for two months now: extreme fatigue, weight loss(14 lbs), tire quickly, night sweats, rashes over my body( red patches), facial rash going across my cheeks and nose. I have been tested for mono twice now and both came back negative. So currently I'm awaiting the test results for my Ebstein-Barr and CMV tests. Now onto the situation, I went in to the hospital today to receive an ultrasound from the abdominal pain I have been having for the past two weeks. The original problem they was looking for was I had a bruit in my abdominal aorta but when it came to my liver there was this spot that the tech found that was about 25mm and she kept looking at it a lot and took a bunch of images of this spot. Now I am not freaking out or anything I'm just curious as to what this could possibly be. Thanks
Apparently a lot of people have nodules in their liver, even if their liver is healthy. She is probably just trying to measure it accurately and get other opinions.
I know it's easy to panic, but the chances are that you have some kind of infection especially if you're mixing with loads of other young people, like just started college etc.
