SCHOOL IS ALMOST DONE...I NEED A WEIGHT LOSS PLAN PLZ!!!?
i weigh 185 pounds ...im 16....i wanna lose 40 - 50 pounds in 3 months...plz tell me a simple way to do this....how much should i run....what foods boost my metabolism....how much calories a day...how long do i have to lift weights to build muscle also X )....and is it possible to do this in a summer break????
OK- don't jump on this too fast, because if you overload yourself with exercise you'll want to quit after a few days. THERE IS NO SIMPLE WAY OF LOOSING WEIGHT HEALTHY FAST.
- don't drink your calories, in other words don't drink sugary drinks, like soda, koolaide ect. what i do is i add a half teaspoon of lime or lemon juice to my glass of water - this tricks me into thinking im actually drinking something sweet.
- Drink cold water - it takes more for the body to digest cold water because its not room temperature.
- i am on a fruit and veggie diet - and so far this has been helpful. ive already lost five pounds from two days ago.
- don't eat at night or past 6pm, if you do, it will just sit there in your stomach as you sleep, and then your body will turn it into fat.
- eat in moderation! don't over eat. if it helps, pack a sandwich bag 3 quarters full of the food you want to eat- then stop once you are finished.
- If you have time, jog for half an hour in the morning- this helps detox the body from the day before.
-Spicy foods are said to boost your metabolism, so bring on the peppers!
For exercise, I do 20 minutes of eliptical, or running, and then I walk for an hour on the treadmill. Then for my second workout in the evening- I just do a quick half an hour of treadmill or bike. Running and walking are good ways to boost your metabolism and get your heart rate up. Walk at an incline if you can, this will help you tone your legs, and even more get your blood flowing.
To build muscle, I would recomend free weights. If you have a gym membership like me, you can just go there and use the weight machines too, a gym will also have free weights.I would lift weights for about 10 to 20 minutes. If you follow this conciously, you will see a difference after about 2 or 3 weeks!
Most important is patience! Loosing weight is hard! Work out, eat healthy, and have a positive attitude.
Dont go on diet pills, those arn't too good for your bodies health.
Dont do anything dangerous or desperate to loose weight.
I used to fast ( not eat anything) for days. I lost 20 pounds in a week and a half, and its not worth it. You feel horrible, light headed, and hungry all-the-time. Plus I gained back the weight within a couple weeks and then some. So dont starve yourself please! :[.
