Do you think that I should question my Doctor??
Ok, back in February I came down with the stomach flu and after the stomach flu was over I was still sick with stomach pain, nausea, dizziness, bloating, weight loss, gas pain and bowel problems so I went to the Dr. She prescribed me some medicine for my nausea and dizziness and sent me on my way and wanted to watch my weight loss. Symptoms went away and came back about a month ago so I went back to Dr and she sent me for a bunch of bloodwork and stool sample and prescribed me zantac. And wanted a follow up in 2 weeks. Am feeling better except for some nausea and some stomach cramping. Went back today and and now down 38lbs and she said my bloodwork was fine and to keep taking the zantac that I am making progress and sent me on my way. What if it is just going away like before and is going to flare up again. It still does not explain what was wrong or is wrong. She will not give me any advice for the anxiety I have from this either which does not help. What is your opinion??
Theres nothing wrong with getting a second opinion. Doctors are only human and can't know everything. If your doctor can't answer your questions to your satisfaction, ask around, there may be another doctor around who has seen these symptoms before, or may have a better idea of what it could all be.
