Does anyone know of any FDA approved prescription weight loss drugs?? I would like to find one that will help me loose weight quickly, but no speed. Yes, my doctor prescribed Xenical for me 6 yrs ago. I weighed over 200 lbs. Now I weigh 142. Xenical prevents the absorption of fat in the body. It is only a crutch, but a great one. All foods contain fat, so you take one with each meal. This will not allow any fat to be absorbed in your body. It also lowered my cholesterol from 300 to 150.
