Dur amine 40mg cant sleep having trouble breathing is this normal does it pass please advise?

Hi I have been taking duramine for 3 days for weight loss, it was perscribed to be by my GP after 6 months with a personal trainer and 6 days a week at the gym as well as eating healthy, resulted in me putting on more weight both in size and weight??? Something I still dont understand. I was interval training with high intensity cardio and weight and got NO weight loss.

On my first day Of taking duramine 40mg I lost 2kg which is great but I cannot sleep my eyes are burning tired but my brain wont rest. Does this pass?

I also feel as though I am having difficutly with breathing, something previously never felt it feels as though I need to take deep breaths as it feels I am not getting enough air in, is this normal? and does this pass?

And finally I am also taking efexor 150mg for depression what are the potential dangers in mixing these 2 medacines.

The following should answer your questions.

What Duromine is used for
Duromine is used to reduce body weight in obese or overweight patients. Your doctor will determine if you are overweight enough to use Duromine. Duromine works by directly affecting the area of the brain that controls your appetite making you feel less hungry.
Duromine should be used as a part of an overall weight management plan which should include a medically controlled diet and exercise program.
Duromine is only available with a doctor's prescription. It has been prescribed for you only. Do not give it to anyone else even if their condition is the same as yours. Your doctor may prescribe Duromine for another purpose. If you are not sure why you are taking this medicine ask your doctor.
Note: Duromine is a controlled drug C5. It should be kept in a secure place and under no circumtances should it be given to anyone else.

Before using Duromine
When you must not use Duromine

Using Duromine
How to take Duromine
In adults and children over 12 years, the usual dose of Duromine is one capsule every day. However, your doctor will prescribe the right dose for you.
Take Duromine first thing in the morning, at breakfast time so that it does not keep you awake at night.
Swallow Duromine capsules with plenty of water. Do not chew or open the capsules.
Follow your doctor's instructions exactly and never change the dose yourself. Increasing the dose may not necessarily make you lose more weight or make you lose weight faster. However you will most likely experience more side effects. Your doctor will tell you how long you are to take Duromine for.
Duromine is not recommended for elderly patients or for children younger than twelve years.

While you are using Duromine
You should regularly visit your doctor for a medical check up.
Tell your doctor immediately if you experience sudden or rapid weight loss, difficulty breathing, chest pain, fainting, swelling of the lower limbs and if you can not exercise as much as you usually can.
Be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how Duromine affects you.
DO NOT drink alcohol whilst taking Duromine.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before you start to take any cough or cold medication.
If you forget to take Duromine
If you forget to take your Duromine dose at breakfast take it no later than lunchtime. Alternatively, skip the dose you missed and take your next dose at the normal time on the next day. If you take Duromine any later than lunch-time you may have trouble sleeping at night.
Never take a double dose to make up for a dose you have missed. If you have trouble remembering when to take your medicine, ask your pharmacist for some hints.

Side Effects
All medicines can have side effects and this may occur with the normal use of Duromine. Tell your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible if you do not feel well while you are taking Duromine.
Tell your doctor immediately if you experience sudden or rapid weight loss, difficulty breathing, chest pain, fainting, swelling of the lower limbs and if you can not exercise as much as you usually can.
Duromine may make you feel more awake than usual. You may have trouble sleeping.
Duromine can have some effects on the heart. You may notice your heart seems to beat faster and harder, and your blood pressure may be raised slightly.
Other side effects you may notice include irregular heart beats, chest pain, feeling restless, feelings of extreme happiness followed by depression and tiredness, nervousness, tremor (shaking), headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or constipation, stomach cramps, dry mouth or an unpleasant taste in your mouth, difficulty passing urine, skin rashes, impotence and changes in sexual drive, swelling of the face.
If you have any side effect whether it is listed above or not, please tell your doctor.

Weight Loss Nutrition Secrets

Are you one of those people struggling with weight loss? Nutrition is important, but one of the first things dieters try is some level of starvation. Unfortunately, starvation deprives the body of nutrition. Rather than triggering weight loss, starvation causes weight retention and weight gain.

How do you respond to your excess weight? Do you deprive yourself of food? Have you tried various fad diets or diet pills that claim to help you lose weight? Was exercise part of your weight loss plan?

If you have tried all these methods and you still haven't lost weight, there is a good reason. There's more to it than that.

Here are the elements you need to achieve weight loss:

- nutrition in sufficient quantities that do not include any fattening foods, junk food, sweet foods, and the like
- exercise to increase your body's demands for energy
- breathing exercises to encourage weight loss
- consistency and persistence

You can't expect to achieve weight loss if nutrition is not adequate. Junk food and other empty foods do nothing for you but add weight. While the energy they provide might make you feel good and help you to perform, they are short term solutions.

Let's take a look at each aspect of weight loss.

Nutrition: You want to choose non-fattening foods that maintain the nutrient levels your body requires. If your body doesn't get them, it will hold on to whatever food it gets as a survival tactic. Look for low and no-fat foods. Make sure you eat fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meat (preferably chicken or salmon rather than red meat), and calcium rich foods like cheese and skim milk.

Exercise: Develop a suitable workout for you and practice it at a minimum of 30 minutes per day. Make sure it's an exercise you enjoy. Walking, swimming, cycling are all excellent exercises for weight loss. Nutritious snacks will provide you with appropriate energy that will quickly burn off during exercise.

Deep Breathing: Several times throughout the day, practice deep breathing for about 15 minutes each session. This will help your body to burn energy.

Consistency & Persistence: No weight loss, nutrition plan or exercise will help you to
lose weight if you don't follow through consistently and with persistence. You might lose weight after your first week or two, but if you start wavering or skimping on your plan, or worse, cheating on your meals, you'll stop losing. In fact, you'll probably gain weight.

One final tip, eat 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day rather than 3 big meals, and avoid eating within four hours of your bedtime. You might already know that eating before going to bed can disrupt your sleep. In some people, it causes indigestion because the body slows at night.

Eating at this late hour can cause you to get improper sleep and it can cause you to gain weight.

Follow these tips for weight loss: nutrition and exercise according to your weight loss plan, and you'll soon see results.
