ways reduce risk diabetes

Diabetics licensed driver?
I am a licensed commercial pilot and I am employed as a pilot ... in order to keep what I do! However, I also have a family history of continuous second category of diabetes. I keep fit and look from my diet, I'm younger (21) - and I also keep my risk low. But I realize there is still a reasonable chance of me developing diabetes - regardless of how I reduce the risk. Is it possible at all now or in the foreseeable future marketing practices and pilots can still maintain a Class One Medical - Continue to fly commercially - diabetes type two? Even if a management plan (like my father) is in place? At this point, I am inclined to believe it is not - but someone knows different? or if you know of future ideas? Much appreciated
Thanks in advance
The best place to find information on the requirements of a professional driver would be on the website of the FAA. My latest information, is that at present, commercial drivers with diabetes are they limited their need for drugs to control blood sugar their blood sugar in the blood. Restrictions on general aviation has been somewhat relaxed in recent years, and drivers may be certified provided that their glycosylated hemoglobin levels are below 9%.
