Who else here has a diabetic and Veg * n?
I was diagnosed with Type I (juvenile) diabetes when she was a toddler ..... This type of diabetes mellitus and do not go far from the changes in diet, aging, etc. is NOT the same as type II diabetes, which is produced by poor nutrition, overweight, aging, and so is anyone else here a vegetarian or vegan and diabetes? Have you noticed that helps? I have a better control of sugar in my blood now than I did before ..... Thanks for the clarification ..... I honestly do not know much about the type II, I know my type I Only angry when I say I am diabetic and people are supposed to be overweight with a diet poor = P. The answer to the first poster, I have not noticed a change as a result of abandoning the meat to become more aware of what we eat .... I eat less processed food, are now more healthy food instead of junk. who made a big difference for me.
You is not quite right with the type II is not only a consequence of bad habits, is genetic, so but can be aggravated by it. Not vegan, but much more vegetarian Based on recommendations from my doctor without any real reason. And I have seen little or no improvement in control, especially since I imagine without any source of carbohydrate meat carbon anyway and not really a problem. However, eating more vegetables certainly can not hurt my overall health. If I have to stop sugar, then better be able to keep my meat.
