Know how to fix a DLP projection tv?
I have a Slim DLP tv (Model BP68-00633A) which needed a new lamp. I've successfully
installed one lamp 6 months ago. A fly flew ito the bulb and the tv went dark. The red standby/temp is flashing as well as the green lamp light is flashing. Should I keep trying to reinstall the lamp- or could this be something entirely different? The tv won't turn on .The pixels started to go in places like stars on the screen before it went
dark entirely. Has this ever happened to you? What do you think it might be?

dark entirely". The white dots are normally the result of the dmd board going out. That's the main board on the tv. Expensive and not worth your own money. But many Samsungs have had this problem, so if it's a Samsung, call their customer service and tell them about the white dots and mention the dmd board and see what they say about possibly helping you with the repair.
