HELP QUICK!!! Should I eat anymore for dinner? Will I screw up my weight loss?

Today I had:
Yogart 160 cal and Nutrigrain bar 140 cal. for breakfast
6 in Veggie Delight from Subway for lunch
40 cal, Wasa cracker for a snack

i would get rid of all of that and switch it with

10 oz. of chicken
1/2 cup of brown rice
1 small salad
red wine or water

counting calories makes sense because fats and simple carbs are high in calories and it allows you to manage them but a meal like the one above gives you significant protein (about 130% dv i am guessing), and enough complex carbohydrates to last you till you sleep. The sugars in the yogurt, and nutrigrain bar cause an insulin spike and tells your body to store glucose and other simple carbs and sugars as fat, the bread (unless whole wheat) in the sub is a simple carb in itself. and the wasa cracker is most likely another simple carb which is capable of being stored as fat.

Your weight loss is most likely due to water weight as you get dehydrated when you exercise and therefore loose weight. to keep me hydrated when i lift i usually am 4-5 lbs. heavier just because of all the water i drink to keep me hydrated and lifting normal weight. ]

Try using your ellipitcal machine before you eat breakfast as there are recent studies suggesting that this is a major metabolism boost for 7 hours and helps you break down carbs from the day before and use it as energy.

for breakfast try
Oatmeal
Banana
Flaxseed Oil
Multivitamin

Lunch
-Some chicken ( however much holds you over)
-and a salad

Protein is the least capable macronutrient for giving you energy and therefore has the least amount of carbs and this diet is around 1200 calories daily which is optimum for fat lose and muscle maintenance.

hi, I am 5' and i weigh 140 and only 16. i am in desperate need of weight loss, how do i do it? Please help!!

I have started to buy weight loss products like "special k brand" cereal, bars "slim fast drinks" and other things like that... what else can i do to loose weight quick?? please help!!!

I believe that weight loss always starts from mindset. This is the reason why i am able to lose 15kg in 2 months and maintain for 3 years straight, all the way till my pregnancy.

You see, we are what we are today because of our past... our past actions.. these actions are decided by our decisions in what to eat and whether to exercise lead and they lead us to having this figure today..

These decisions come from your mindsets.

Now, suppose I do teach you how to lose the weight and you do lose it.. but if your mindsets and decisions are the same.. and so your actions are the same. So you would continue to eat as you did, sleep as you did and ta da!

After three months, you probably will not maintian your weight loss but instead go back to square one.. dun you agree?

So it is impt to get your mindsets right first.

Before you start any weight loss program, here are some questions you might like to think about to prepare your mindset for weight loss:

1) What is my goal? I want to lose __kg in __ time.
2) Why do I want to achieve this goal? (if possible, come up with 50 reasons)
3) If I do not achieve it, what pains will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
4) If I achieve it, what happiness will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
5) What will happen to me if I continue my current situation for the next 10 years?
6) Then when do I want to take action?

Some solutions I can offer you for diet:
Breakfast: eat fruits/drink fruit juice
Lunch: Less carbo, more veg and fruits, less seafood, meat and eggs
Dinner: Same as lunch but no solid food after 8pm. Soups are great dinners

If you want to exercise to enhance the speed of weight loss. Go for some light jogging or do something you enjoy like an aerobic class or kick boxing class...
