What are the ranges for numbers of sugar in the blood before and after a meal?
May I type 2 diabetes. (I have an appointment this week next to the Doc), I had a blood test done (by Doc) and my rate was 130. (I have fasted for 12 hours, but I took my methadone liquid before I took the test) I am not sure that the effects of the count? Anyway, I bought a test kit and do some tests yesterday. Before I ate dinner, my account was 122 at the time (6:00) I ate dinner, had a snack bar, Special K, blood test (time 7:20) was 130. Ate more than 3 bars (yes, I eat a lot of Em ") tested blood (time 8:10) was 399. Whereas 20 minutes, tested again, 192. It was last night. I know I is not the right test procedure, I just wanted to get an idea. Anyway, this morning I have tested and it was 107. However, I also woke up granola bars 3 times in the night and ate. Is it common for diabetics? Waking up in the middle of the night and want sugar? I do it every night! I know theres a lot here, just hoping someone could tell me if it resembled a number of diabetics, or am I normal?

It GTT is a definitive answer on whether a person is diabetic or pre-diabetes. My question is if someone took the prescribed amount of glucose obtained in the test, usually sugar levels in May. Is not it? or do you know if the person has consumed prescribed amounts of glucose to test your blood sugar does not rise at all if you have diabetes your blood. Then a man well informed enlighten me on this?

Guidelines: under 90 early in the morning, at least 130 1 hour after eating, most likely want to check: - 1st thing in the morning (fasting) - 1 hour after breakfast, lunch and dinner - in bed especially if you take insulin I wanted to add that I have seen in another question that is not eating Yoplait Light yogurt now. I answered this question - there is nothing wrong with yogurt for diabetics. There is considerable research shows that carbohydrates / sugars are very hazardous to your baby if you are diabetic pregnancy. No research that supports that you can not eat artificial sweeteners. When you are diabetic, you must use tools you need to keep in line with your diet, and the use of an artificial sweetener is a valuable tool. If you want to eat yogurt without sugar then go ahead, but keep in mind that adding something like honey or sugar so that the yogurt is more dangerous for a diabetic to eat a pre-packaged Yoplait Light yogurt. Gestational diabetes also limit their consumption of fruit and therefore should not unless you know exactly how their level of blood glucose is reacting. The dietitian will give you a full meal plan, go over what you eat all day, so that the sooner you see that person better. Good luck!
