Diabetes: Should I be concerned about my blood sugar toddlers?

My wife has type 1 diabetes. My son is 2 years old and have not (I hope). I noticed a change in the way his breath smells, but there are no symptoms of diabetes. He has been at the zoo yesterday all day and only had one cup Sippie while walking a lot. He took a nap on the way home, woke up, ate a plate Pulp and blew three cups of milk. Then he vomited. Out of paranoia, I tested his blood sugar, it was 189. I tested again in an hour and it was 137. I tested this morning and he was 91. I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow. My question is: Is a child, or anyone, have a blood sugar of 189 if not diabetic / hypoglemic? Could milk, pasta, and vomit raise in a healthy person?

The milk and pasta may have been the cause and yes you can have their blood sugar too high that 189 and not diabetic. It is good that you taking the doctor to get the heart net.
