signs diabetes toddlers

How do they diagnose diabetes in infants?
I have a girl 14 months early. My wife and I have noticed that when we give him a cup or allow customers to use a straw to drink our drinks (water, juice), she swallows everything down. We can offer him give 8 ounces of milk at dinner and she will drink 1 / 3 without stopping. My wife told some friends at work about this and they said they had heard be too thirsty, could be a sign of diabetes. What are the other things you might search? She is a toddler very happy .... laughes all the time great sleeper two naps 1.5 hours each day and usually sleeps from 8pm until 8.30am. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated ..... That does not sound to me as excessive, the unquenchable thirst of diabetes. It looks like a little girl who loves her New drinking skills! =) However, if you're worried, talk to his pediatrician. The test is a simple finger prick and takes a few seconds. Some symptoms diabetes include: frequent urination, excessive thirst, extreme hunger, unusual weight loss increased irritability, fatigue, blurred vision
