I need some stories when you were first diagnosed with juvenile diabetes?

Hello, my teacher gave me a mission to find stories when people were first diagnosed w / Juvenile Diabetes. She wants to know how you knew where you found that the symptoms were (how many times did you go to the toilet, etc.), how you reacted, how the nurses / doctors you treated, and everything and anything else you can think of. Please do not be afraid to write what you want, right about what has minute by minute. Include small details, and make it as long as you want.

My symptoms actually started about a month or two before I have discovered. One of the early signs (which I did not even know at the time) was the thirst. I drank about 10 cups water juice per day (which was much more than regular). The following weeks I started having frequent urination (this I thought that was all the water I drank, but noo haha.), and blurred vision. I actually went to the optometrist (SP?) For glasses, because I thought my vision was underway. When they checked my blood pressure, I noticed it was more higher than normal, but I did not pay much attention to him. The next two weeks, I started to feel sick as if I a cold or fever, with a pale face, etc. The day I was my sickest, I went to school with a need for Ice-Orange Shake Starbucks, then I woke up my father to take me before school. This morning I could not even chew a sandwich, I was shaking really bad. In the middle of the school day, I started to become seriously pale. And insisted on returning. I expected the office nurse for nearly an hour before my trip has come. When I went home I immediately started vomit on the carpet. I finally had CRAVINGS more, but this time for strawberries. My parents knew nothing of diabetes at the time, if they kept feeding me porridge (which made my blood sugar even higher!). I ended up limping around the house .. and become unconscious. I do remember if it was the next day or same day but all I remember was trailed by an ambulance 911. They did all bunch of tests (that I do not remember the cause of all the unconscious or barely conscious / sleep / Faint, the situation haha.). All I remember I was deposited to a small clinic, tested, and seated on a portable pool for hours waiting for something. After this, I was transported at UC Davis Hospital. In the car, I was extremely thirsty. And I would always say doctors Transport (?) That I was thirsty .. again and again. Haha. When I arrived at the hospital. I was transported to the section of emergency care for children (I think haha.). There were all kinds of tubes, and IVS stuck in my arms and hands. They would not let me eat or drink for the next day and a half. I did not know what was happening at the time (but during the clinic / day hospital, even weak or unconscious, I heard speak a certain way, 'Oh, he has diabetes). But it did not hit me at that time.
