I want a good book to get information to control Type II diabetes?

My husband was recently diagnosed w / Type II Diabetes. They prescribed Metformin and it helps a little, but it makes him really tired and a few other side effects. We are eager obtain information on a more natural approach to control his sugar. Anyone have a good read?

Your husband needs to see an endocrinologist big step [GP] and see a dietitian and diabetes take ed class. He needs to subscribe to current diabetes magazines to stay on top of new diabetes and you both may want to join a support group and make new friends.
