low diabetes numbers

Gestational diabetes - Looking for help with fasting levels?

Earlier this week, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and my doctor I asked to meet with a dietitian and take a course to help me manage diet. It is also not available until next week, so that in the meantime, I will 4x/day my blood glucose and try to adjust my diet with a sample menu I found online. My afternoon and after dinner the numbers are great, but my fast and after breakfast numbers are still low. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can help reduce these numbers in the morning between now and the time be able to comply with the dietitian? What worked for you? Only 53 days until I deliver, and I think the clock is ticking and every day I have this right is a day that affect my baby!
