Vs. feline diabetes. Man diabetes?

Cats with diabetes are treated equally that humans with diabetes? As in, careful monitoring of carbohydrate intake, blood glucose and take insulin injections? I have diabetes, but my cat does not, but I know it exists. Just wondering if the state management were similar. Thx.

Yes they receive diabetes and yes it is quite the same thing. However, one difference is the intake of carbohydrates. The cats are food specific when they become diabetic - usually a food strictly with diabetes in mind but sometimes it is not important because sometimes were just happy to eat a cat and we care about what kind of food. They receive regular injections of insulin each day in the same weather. Some have been on 1 shot twice a day while some need of one. You need to regularly check their blood glucose to ensure they remain at Righ and the amount of insulin you give is correct. They may also have episodes of hypoglycemia when they do not eat. They can also become very sick and DKA which is becoming very long and serious process. So yes the man and cat and dog diabetes are quite similar. Now, with the improvement of science so there are foods for diabetics there for cats that can even regulate their blood sugar without gunfire. Its incredible. Doesn't work on all but certain.
