hairdressing commision question?
I need a little advice ..
I work at a salon as an assistant..and work at a booth
I get paid hourly + commision (40 % of the total I charge) - I don't pay for the booth
Our salon started offering a treatment (which my boss pays for the supplies 100%) , I am the one who performs the treatment. Each treatment is worth about $150-200 .. I get paid $20 per treatment
My question is .. do you think that it is fair if I ask to be paid more if the customer is charged more?
ex .. if I'm getting paid $20 and $150 is going into the drawer..I feel I should be getting $30 or so if the customer is charged $200
any advice ? thanks!
