Why water fasting is completed only supposed to be bad for type 2 diabetes?

Why water is just full Fasting is supposed to be bad for type 2 diabetes? I am 63 years old and was diagnosed with diabetes for 10 years. I'm 5'9 and 245 pounds. Thirty years ago, I have fasted for 10 days and lost 25 pounds without any problems. (In other words, no problem until I broke the fast with a cheeseburger - nausea time!) No But this was long before he was diabetic. Now I'm supposed to take pills for diabetes, but I have to stop them, as the unit so that my sugar low blood ... as low as 32! I want to quickly dispose of a lot of weight, and am considering a long fast of only water. Conventional wisdom is that diabetics He should not fast, but I find nothing in the medical literature that supports this idea. However, there seems no studies showing that diabetes benefited from fasting or diets very low in calories. Does anyone have knowledge or experience with the fast for non-insulin-dependent diabetics?

I'm pretty sure that 50 +% of the weight he lost was the weight of water. During fasting, a person abstains from food voluntarily for a specified period of time. Fasting has been practiced through the ages both religious and therapeutic purposes. A fast day is unlikely to cause harm to a healthy body. Slightly longer fasts (two to three days) also are well tolerated by most healthy people. Whatever short-term fasting is unwise and potentially dangerous for some people, including pregnant and lactating women, people with cancer, diabetes, gout, hypoglycemia, stomach ulcers, liver, kidney or lung disease or anyone with a weakened immune system. Some experts warn against fasting for a duration of two to three days, even in healthy people, if practiced more fasts should be under medical supervision. During the first 24 hours of fasting, the body is able to use its stored carbohydrates as glycogen in the body processes the essential fuel. When you are exhausted glycogen, fat becomes the energy source of choice, so that (for example protein found in muscle tissue) is partially safe. However, muscle tissue is often lost, even during short fasting. Weakness, nausea, headaches and depression may also develop during a fast, because ammonia and nitrogen are released into the blood during the breakdown of muscle tissue. Ketones, byproducts of fat metabolism, are produced when the body shifts from carbohydrate burning to fat burning. Elimination of ketones is carried out by the kidneys. In extreme cases, prolonged fasting can lead a heart rhythm abnormalities and death. "Modified" fasts in which fruit or vegetable juice and herbal tea consumed, are probably easier in the body of all water fasts. Despite this, once fast should be limited in time; fasts last longer than a week, should be supervised by a professional of professional health workers. Why do people follow this diet? claim that environmental toxins accumulate in our bodies over time and must be removed periodically through fasting to maintain optimum health. Cleansing fasts are an important part of a detoxification program and may be part a weight loss program. What do the advocates say? Advocates believe that fasting periodically gives the body of a breakdown in digestion and allows eliminate toxins that cause disease, while promoting healing and reversing the aging process. Studies indicate that fasting helps conditions health conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, migraines and skin diseases. Acute illnesses such as colds and flu, colon disorders, allergies, obesity and diseases breathing may also respond to fasting. His supporters say one day quickly creates a state of mind clearer and energy. They believe that three days of fasting, the body gets rid of toxins and purifies the blood, and the long term, promotes rapid healing, alleviates food allergies, book stores and rebuild the immune system. What the critics say? Critics believe that fasting reduces the body of important nutrients, essential minerals and energy, may be dangerous and is an effective aid in weight loss. The few books that are lost in the beginning of a fast is water, and this weight will return once the fast is over. Few studies Scientists have taken steps to safeguard the health of claims and proof that the rapid release of toxins stored in fat. Are there groups of or relating to this diet books?
