Can I take glyburide at night for gestational diabetes?

I have 32 weeks of pregnancy and gestational diabetes. My blood sugar tended to increase during the night. I take 1 / 2 pill in the morning. I am now on this for 2 weeks and my blood sugar is crazy. It is now too low in the morning and now displays more abnormal numbers because it is too low, and still gets high at night. I tried to explain this in OB / GYN, and they still with me in the morning. I also try to adjust my diet. I just would like some opinions thereon before the next doc appointment. Wacky When I say I mean its too weak after I eat breakfast and then high after dinner. Thank you for your answers.

What do you mean by crazy? And what is "high" and "low" for you? It may be a little high or low, without have serious consequences, and you might not need to change anything. As you describe in detail your symptoms with your doctor and they include what happens, I would trust his decision. Taking too much glyburide you can send your sugar dangerously low - and have some sugar in the blood is much more dangerous that it is a bit high.
