Question of diabetes?

Have everyone has a couple of questions. I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes a year ago. I am not under the insulin but I am taking metformin. I radically changed my diet, cutting out all processed foods, low carbohydrate eating, avoid sweets, cakes, etc, eat fresh lean meat, just try to eat free. My blood sugar levels are doing well and I lost weight and exercise. I know that fruits have sugar in them, but I thought it was okay to eat fresh fruit, because of what I said sugar is "natural". What is a sugar "natural" anyway? I recently learned not to eat fresh fruit (which was not to say that as a doctor). Is it fresh fruit? So I avoid drinks with diabetes? Fresh fruit as a gift to me now. Please help me, I'm confused and I want to learn more. Some tips to help me are appreciated. Thanks in advance for their responses.

Fruits are good. Just be sure to add the calories of sugar in the allocation of calories from carbohydrates. Total for all meals provided will vary depending on weight. You kind of have to experiment with the up or down and control their blood sugar at first sight. A medium apple or a half cup of blueberries is very little to Spike my blood sugar, but may be different.
