Does anyone know the differences between mumps and diabetes?
IM in a child care course and need some answers. I compare and contrast the infection (mumps) and condition (diabetes). thanks
Mumps is an infection caused by a virus and is contagious (can spread from one person to another virus) He resides in the parotid glands in front of the ear where a swollen face home. Runs its course in a week or two. Generally not hazardous in children, although both adults and young men are infected, can damage the testicles and cause infertility. Diabetes is not an infection, is a disorder islet cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. Insulin allows the body to use sugar, so when someone has diabetes, your body can not use the sugar they consume, so it accumulates in the blood and finally reaches the urine.
