Home testing for diabetes? UK?

Hello, I have no idea what sort of things ... sorry stupid question. Is there any test kits can be purchased at home online to control diabetes? If so can anyone suggest links to these kits in the UK ... Thank you. (I had a test 2 weeks ago blood for blood glucose testing at random, I think I need to make a quick, but I have a very bad reaction to blood tests and generally to go to another for a while yet ... So I was wondering if you could test house as such). I'm not diabetic ... if it can be pre-diabetic. Do not worry, I'm going back to the doctors, but still ... My doctor says no worries about my test results random blood glucose ... but became paranoid.

I'm in the UK, but if you search online for the glucose meters, you should find plenty. One Touch is a good brand. You only need to bite the finger is much easier than a blood sample to the laboratory. Best of luck.
