Has anyone thats been diagnosed with diabetes have a headache after eating as a symptom?

I am 23 years, overweight, and recently started getting headaches after I eat. Not every time I eat, and this is no food or specific amount of food that triggers the headache. I usually get one every two days. Ibuprofen does not help, but they are not migraines. I am concerned about the possibility of diabetes. My left foot / calf receives also swollen and tingly after sat for a while. Ideas? I know I should obviously go to the doctor, but I can not afford right now.
