Type II diabetes is linked to this organ system (s)?
On the basis of the following article, I http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/LAC.20080729.LDIABETES29/TPStory/?query=Type+2+Diabetes think the organ system associated with type II diabetes is the endocrine system. Can anyone verify if I am correct? Edited thnx thnx guys ...
Yes, it involves the endocrine system. I noticed a few responses refer to the production of insulin, but production of insulin is not necessarily the cause of diabetes. The cause is the inability of the cell membrane open and allow glucose entering the cell. Therefore, the blood glucose level increases. Many diabetics use a natural product called multiplex genome that normalizes the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, the most important of the endocrine system. By putting the body to homeostasis, it seems that the product is able to obtain the cell membranes to open better communication at the cellular level. This would explain why so many diabetics undergoes a large decrease in their levels of blood sugar once they start using the product.

Insulin molecule Photo Mugs Insulin. Computer artwork of a molecule of insulin. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas. It consists of two peptide chains, A (centre to right) and B (left). The chains are linked by disulphide bridges (ribbons). Insulin is released from the pancreas when blood sugar levels are high, for example after a meal. It instructs liver, muscle and fat cells to absorb the glucose and store it as ... |
