Can women with diabetes type one have children?

I was thinking the other day on people with diabetes, women can type with pregnant and have children? And their children all have birth defects and they develop diabetes type II?

Yes, women like 1 may get pregnant and bear children. Their children may develop congenital malformations of him if they do not have their blood sugar under control. I heard that any type of diabetic mother who had blood sugars uncontrolled during pregnancy may cause their child to be more likely to develop Type 2 later in life. But it is unlikely they will be born with type 2. It is more likely that they will have birth defects (if sugars Mom is high in early pregnancy) or too high causing a number of problems for mother and baby (if Mom's sugars are higher later in pregnancy) Edit ... I think someone might be misunderstanding me. I never said that the types 1 and 2 are related to all. A type 1 with sugars uncontrolled during pregnancy may increase the risk of their unborn child with type 2 later in life because they receive much additional sugar while in the womb. And while sugar itself does not cause diabetes type 2, obtain excessive amounts of it while you're still a fetus can help you find your way around it. I know because I read in a book when I had gestational diabetes few years ago.
