diabetes alcoholism

Tuff Tracks?
Hi I do a paper on Toba TOPICS. These are the issues that are particularly difficult for our young people that have to do with health. Looking for ideas for future research. I realize that things such as illness or death of a loved one, diabetes, cancer, suicide, depression, smoking, AIDS, alcoholism and abuse are some of my themes are available. But I expected something different - something that really sticks with my readers expect (School Teachers Public K-12) Thanks
I am a teacher and I always undermined by the wide range of difficult issues that children have to negotiate. During the past school year some of my students were treated following issues and experiences. I teach 8th grade in middle school. Think of some of them. I hope are helpful suggestions. Good luck. 1. First sexual experience. I had a senior who was in foster care. She Run Wild every weekend - during the year that started relationships sex twice and had a pregnancy test. Fear is very, very screwed. 2. Burning the house and the family lost everything. They were like refugees in our city. It took months to find clothing and housing and furniture replacement, etc. (A family of six). It was really hard for 13 year old daughter especially. I saw a strong move from confidence and send a student to depression and anxiety. Towards the end of the year, recovered and finished strong. 3. Of poverty. There were several students whose families were in a desperate situation. 4. Personal hygiene. I had a student this year and for several years whose body and breath odor is almost unbearable. It is often a question family, but not always. What to do with a 13 year smelling of mold and moisture that your hands dirty? This year, the poor kid was a total outcast. We had to wash before class and I had a toothbrush and toothpaste for her in school, but only helped a couple of times. 5. Addiction to electronics. There is a small but significant group of youth in the age group of early adolescents who are addicted to the Internet and cell phones. I taught a course Repair with 24 children (20 boys - 4 girls). In our self-assessments before starting the program from almost all income that the main problem in life is that MSN, Facebook and their mobile phones regularly obtained in the form of homework. He could not escape to gadgets to get their homework done. Therefore, all were grade 8 and need not demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing and math to pass the 9th year. Of the 24 who went through the program with me 18 after the 9th grade. In my opinion, the problem with technology is one of the most pressing problems of today's youth culture. The cost of being "connected" with friends is the cause of the disconnection with family and school.
