What is the next step after a positive test of fasting glucose for diabetes?
I tested positive for diabetes my blood test fasting, now my doctor did a blood test at the chance just to make sure, if thats too positive what I have to go to the hospital? or what's next
No! you can not go to the hospital! Nothing will be different tomorrow than it is today, except your doctor can tell you that you have high blood sugar "and watch your sugars!" Most doctors not bother to explain This "Watch your sugar" really means. They poke a prescription and say we take these pills and come back for another blood test in three months, I recommend you find a book entitled "Diabetes Type 2: The First Year" and read it. This will further explain what you go through for the next phase of your life! Better a Certified Diabetes Educators and nurses can do when you meet with them. I am just an email for your peace of mind! Write me misery and doubt! I've been there and done that and have the t-shirt hanging on the rope clothes to prove it.
